UberEats delivery driver (Little Rock, AR.): Oct. 2020-Aug. 2021 I chose to work for UberEats because it was easier to social distance in this role than in a traditional work environment. This was a concern for me over the fall and winter of 2020/2021 because my parents are elderly, and I was helping look after them during the pandemic.

Jostens seasonal school photographer (Little Rock, AR.): Aug. 2020-Oct. 2020 I took photos of students for use in their school yearbooks and for individual sales. I ended up leaving this job early because the regional manager for Arkansas was not following well-established safety protocols for Covid-19, and it unnecessarily put me and, by extension, my parents at risk. Nicole Blake is the Director of Corporate Human Resources at Jostens. You may contact her at (952) 830-3272 or Nicole.Blake@jostens.com. When inquiring about me, please use my full name, Andrew Stephen Lewis, to avoid any confusion (I go by my middle name).

March 2020-Oct. 2020 I moved from Austin, TX., to Little Rock, AR., where my parents live, to help look after them during the pandemic. I was unemployed during this time and lived off my savings.

Austin American-Statesman freelance photographer (Austin, TX): Sept. 2018-March 2020. I periodically shot general assignments for the Statesman, as well as numerous high school football and basketball games and University of Texas at Austin swimming and baseball. I also shot the 2019 SXSW Music Festival. The photo director at the Statesman is Nell Carroll. You may contact her at 512-940-0800 or wcarroll@statesman.com.

Wheatsville (Austin, TX): Jan. 2017-March 2020 I worked at Wheatsville, a co-op grocery store, for just over two years doing food prep, stocking and cleaning. Robert Villareal was my supervisor. You may contact him at 512-696-4620.

The Farmington Daily-Times staff photographer (Farmington, NM): Dec. 2015-Dec. 2016. I was a full-time photographer shooting daily assignments and occasional short videos for the web. Chris Roberts was my supervisor. You may contact him at (505) 564-4624.

The Journal staff photographer (Cortez, CO): Oct. 2007-March 2009. I was a full-time photographer shooting assignments for publication three times a week, often creating photo galleries for the web and photo pages for print. Sam Green was my supervisor: You may contact him at (970) 564-6036.

The Daily Toreador staff photographer (Lubbock, TX): Jan. 2005-May 2007. This was the student-run newspaper at Texas Tech University. I worked part time as a photographer.

H. Deane Pierce Associates (Lubbock, TX) Jan. 2002-Dec. 2004 I worked part time stocking, cleaning and running errands while attending Texas Tech University. Mike Mitchell was my supervisor. You may contact him at (806) 928-1705.

1986-2002 I was employed in numerous businesses in Little Rock, AR., Ketchikan, AK., Anchorage, AK., and Lubbock, TX. Most of those jobs were in the service industry, but I also did seasonal work in a couple of fish canneries and one floatplane outfit that transported tourists and residents to far-flung areas of Southeast Alaska. I was also a deckhand on a small yacht for one summer, ferrying tourists back and forth between Ketchikan, AK., and Juneau, AK. I also worked in construction a number of times. Unfortunately, I have long since lost touch with the people I worked with during that time.

Internships:

The Amarillo Globe-News (Amarillo, TX): June 2007-Oct. 2007. I worked full time and performed all the same duties as a staff photographer.

The Loveland Reporter-Herald (Loveland, CO): June 2006-Aug. 2006. I worked part time shooting general assignments and occasional spot news.

Education:

I attended Texas Tech University (Lubbock, TX.) part time beginning in Sept. 2004. I majored in Spanish and minored in Photo Communications and graduated in May 2007 with a bachelor's degree. I attended South Plains College (Levelland, TX) part time from Sept. 2003 to Sept. 2004. I attended University of Alaska at Anchorage part time from Sept. 1994 to May 1997.
